Welcome to the wonderful world that lies under the sea. This remarkable CD-ROM gives viewers an introduction into the myriad of colourful, interesting and often unique creatures that inhabit one of the most complex, diverse and beautiful ecosystems on our planet.

Great photographs by award winning underwater photographer and writer JACK JACKSON together with video-clips and background information, give an insight into fish, turtles, sea stars, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, nudibranchs, crabs, lobsters, corals, sponges, and shipwrecks while sharks are shown in spectacular close-up.

Some of the colours in sunlight are filtered out in the sea such that blue becomes prominent, in most instances the bright colours of many creatures are not obvious without the addition of artificial lighting. All the still pictures on this CD-ROM were taken very close-up with the addition of electronic flash to show the real colours in all their glory. Diving can be enjoyed by anyone, if this CD-ROM encourages more peopleto participate in diving and snorkelling, the authors' will have succeeded in their aim.
