In the entire history
of mankind, there has never been a military machine as mighty as the integrated air and
rocket forces of the former Soviet Union and its Warsaw Pact allies. The end of the Cold
War have opened up Eastern Europe in their Military Air Power. For military aviation
enthusiasts a new world with unknown Russian Aircraft types was opened. The editor has
visited these former Warsaw Pact Allies and analysed this former threat. The Warsaw Pact
Allies included the Air Forces of: Bulgaria, Czech, East Germany, Hungary, Romania,
Russia, Slovak Republic.
