SkyVenture, Orlando was created by inventor Bill Kitchen and engineer Mike Palmer opening in July 1998. Alan Metni world champion skydiver purchased SkyVenture July 2004. What made SkyVenture; Orlando unique was the wall to wall column of air. With 5 fans located at the top of the air chamber they draw the air upwards and create a smooth column of air that you fly in. SkyVenture has had thousands of visitors to come and feel the experience of indoor skydiving. The experience is so realistic that it has turned into a training Mecca for skydivers with the top teams from across the globe traveling to Orlando to train.
