Nestled under live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss, The Old Pineapple Inn bed and breakfast is housed in the William H. Gleason House as listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in the Old Eau Gallie area of Melbourne, Florida, this three-story Victorian home remained in the Gleason Family from its initial construction in 1886, until 1995. The structure and grounds have recently undergone an extensive renovation.The Old Pineapple Inn and Guest House are located across the street from the Indian River Lagoon. The Eau Gallie Library, Pineapple Park, and the public fishing pier are all within walking distance. The Eau Gallie Civic Center, the Brevard Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Florida Historical Society, the Post Office, banks, art galleries, restaurants, day spas, antiques, specialty shops, and much more are only a short walk.
