species visiting our numerous hummingbird feeders around the grounds of the Inn and a
garden that was planted specifically to attract birds and butterflies. In the center of
the garden a fountain with a cascading spray attracts many birds for a bath. A nature
lovers paradise with frequent visits from deer, coatimundi, wild turkey and a myriad of
other birds and animals that live in the neighborhood which can sometimes be seen from the
Inn's charming great room, big front porch, picnic area or garden area.

Rail Oaks is located just 80 miles south of Tucson and less than 10 miles south of Sierra
Vista. It is nestled in the beautiful Huachuca Mountains and rests in the shadow of Carr
Peak.Rail Oaks is bordered on two sides by federal land and is home to deer, javelina and
other majestic creatures.A nature lover's paradise, the area teems with many species of
birds, including raptors (Gray Hawks, Mississippi Kite and Crested Caracara), sparrows
(black-throated sparrow, Botteri's Sparrow) and hummingbirds (Magnificent, Annas and
Ruby). Great Horned Owls, Vermilion flycatchers and other birds also migrate to the area.

All four of our one, two and three bedroom carpeted adobe houses are completely furnished
with living rooms and kitchens, television, heating and cooling systems and some have cozy
fireplaces. Private baths and all bed sizes are available. Five RV spaces with full
hook-ups are available seasonally in a tree-studded area of the grounds. Central laundry
facilities available for all guests. The San Pedro River Inn provides a conference area
for small meetings and weddings. Local caterers can provide excellent meal service at the
Inn, and there are many excellent restaurants in Sierra Vista and Bisbee. A large
collection of books and magazines are provided in the conference center, as well as in the
guesthouses.
