The owner and operator of Ambassador Guide Services is Bill McBurney. Bill was Lees
Ferry's first licensed Guide on the River.He was born and raised in what he refers to as
"the best state in the Nation:Arizona. He has been one of Arizona's most sought after
guides with his diversity in fishing many areas in Arizona from "trophy"
Rainbows at Lees Ferry and now teaching Striper's on the Fly Rod at Lake Powell. Bill has
over 25 year of experience and is considered a premier guide and asset to the fisheries of
Arizona by other fishing professionals".Bill is licensed by the United States Coast
Guard, the Department of Interior, Forest Service and the State of Arizona as a Guide and
Boat & Safety Instructor and also contracted with Yavapai College Edventure Programs,
which is a nationwide program.

Lees Ferry Anglers Fly Shop was established in 1989 by fly fishing guides and IGFA World
Record Holders Terry Gunn, Wendy Hanvold Gunn and Russell Sullivan. Russell has guided fly
fishermen in the area since 1982, Terry since 1983.Lees Ferry Anglers provides both River
Boat and Walk/Wade Guide Service. River Boat Guide Service if for full days. Walk/Wade
Guide Service is for either half- or full-day basis.Lees Ferry Rentals Inc rents boats,
flyrods, reels, boots and waders. Additionally, we offer selected hosted guide fishing
trips to the finest fly-fishing locations in the world: Belize, Alaska and beyond. Be sure
to inquire about the forthcoming trips.We are active members of Trout Unlimited, the
Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) and other local, regional, national and international
conservation organizations.

Marble Canyon Outfitters at Lees Ferry specializes in flyfishing on the Colorado River in
northern Arizona. Our guides are all FFF certified flycasting instructors running
custom-built 20-22 foot riverboats.We operate out of the Marble Canyon Lodge just 5 miles
from streamside.
